Surgery for Sam

Hello all-

We just got word that they have scheduled surgery for Sam tomorrow (01/22) around noon.  This surgery is to put a shunt in place to increase blood flow to the lungs and help him maintain his oxygen levels.  This procedure is being done because the catheterization performed last week wasn’t as effective as they hoped, and they’re trying to buy time so Sam has a chance to grow a bit before the main surgery.

Please take a moment to send a prayer up that everything goes as well as expected, and that Sam has a quick and easy recovery.
