The Butera Boys

Hello-

Here are a few pictures of Sam and Max.  Included is this month’s Monkey picture (we take a picture of them with their monkey each month on the sixth to see how much they’ve grown).  This month the boys are sitting up (sort of)!  Also included is a picture of Sam helping himself to a bottle.  I guess he got tired of waiting for us to feed him.  In case you’re curious, Sam can have a very small bottle in addition to a feed through his NG tube.  Also included is a picture of Max in the bathrobe that Nikki and Denny sent him (Sam has one too).  All we need to do is get our little goomba some gold chains!

Quick update on Sam:  we were recently told that the surgeon wants Sam to be 9 to 12 months old before the operation is done.  He’s 5 months now, so that puts us somewhere between October and January.  Like we said before, we’ll do whatever is best for Sam, but we’re hoping his surgery is closer to October so our holidays are a little more relaxing than last year.
